About the Role

As an Accounts Payable Clerk, you will be a crucial part of the finance team, responsible for managing the company's outgoing payments and ensuring that all invoices are processed accurately and on time. Key Responsibilities

  • Process and manage a high volume of supplier invoices
  • Match purchase orders to invoices and resolve discrepancies
  • Reconcile supplier statements and manage payment runs
  • Assist with month-end closing and reporting activities
  • Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal departments
  • Handle queries and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience in an Accounts Payable role, ideally within the construction industry
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, especially Excel
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication skills and the ability to build strong relationships with suppliers
  • A proactive and flexible approach to work
