Corporate Tax Manager Job Description

A Corporate Tax Manager is required to provide tax advice across a wide range of sectors and taxes. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop their existing tax knowledge through training and support.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Liaise and correspond with HMRC in respect of clearance applications, enquiries, and other tax-related matters.
  • Draft reports and letters of advice for various tax advisory issues.
  • Prepare calculations to support tax advice.
  • Liaise with clients and attend meetings with other team members.
  • Train and review the work of junior members of staff.
  • Provide support to Directors and Partners in the Tax Advisory Group.
  • Advise on corporate reconstructions, investor reliefs, staff incentive schemes, remuneration planning, succession planning, research and development claims, VAT returns, SDLT returns, and individual tax planning.
Requirements:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, or a relevant tax/accountancy qualification.
  • Knowledge of tax software and databases.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
