About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Consultant Psychiatrist to join our team at Priory Arnold. As a Consultant Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients on our acute mixed ward.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide medical leadership and expertise to the multidisciplinary team
  • Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with complex mental health needs
  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to inform diagnosis and treatment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care
  • Participate in on-call rota and provide emergency medical care as needed
Requirements
  • Higher specialist training leading to CCT or eligibility for specialist registration (CESR)
  • Higher medical qualification (MRCPsych or equivalent)
  • Experience working in a similar role and setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
