We are seeking a skilled and experienced Weekend Cook to join our team at Cuthbert House Approved Premises in Tyne and Wear. As a key member of our catering team, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and cooking meals for our residents.
Key Responsibilities- Plan and prepare meals for residents, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Follow recipes and cooking procedures to ensure consistency and accuracy.
- Ensure the kitchen is clean and well-maintained, adhering to strict health and safety standards.
- Manage food stock, waste, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.
- 2 years of experience in hands-on cooking, preferably in a similar environment.
- Excellent knowledge of food hygiene standards and procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
