Position: Insight and Data Analyst

Salary: £37,000 - £42,000 p.a. (dependent on skills and experience) plus generous benefits

Location: Hybrid working - office and remote

The Football Foundation is a prominent charity supported by the Premier League, the FA, and the government, dedicated to enhancing grassroots facilities and transforming communities through improved access to sports.

We are currently seeking an experienced Insight and Data Analyst to assist in showcasing the impact of our initiatives within communities. This role is pivotal in helping the Foundation understand its reach and identify opportunities for enhancement.

The successful candidate will collaborate with the Insight Team, leveraging their expertise in SQL database management, data visualization tools, and advanced Excel functionalities, including Pivot Tables and Power Query, to support our mission of providing accessible play spaces for all.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Analyze data to provide actionable insights that inform strategic decisions.
  • Support the development and maintenance of PowerBI dashboards for interactive monitoring.
  • Oversee the surveying process to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
  • Communicate complex information effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Candidate Profile:

We are looking for individuals with a degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience, coupled with a solid understanding of data analysis, research methodologies, and evaluation principles. Ideal candidates will demonstrate:
