About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Registered Manager to lead our two Ofsted-rated GOOD solo homes in Middlesbrough. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing comprehensive care plans, building a great team, and fostering consultation with young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement care plans that address the unique needs of each young person
  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of staff to provide high-quality care and support
  • Collaborate with stakeholders, including parents, carers, and other professionals, to promote the welfare of young people
  • Ensure the homes maintain high standards of care and meet regulatory requirements
  • Handle complaints and concerns in a professional and timely manner
Requirements
  • Relevant experience in residential care of children, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role
  • Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or equivalent)
  • Knowledge of The Quality Standards, SCCIF, childcare legislation, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Full UK driving license
