Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide tailored support for a child with specific behavioural needs.
  • Implement individualised behaviour management strategies to promote a positive learning environment.
  • Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO, and external professionals to develop and implement personalised education plans.
  • Monitor progress and provide feedback to staff, parents, and carers.
  • Encourage social, emotional, and academic development through creative and engaging activities.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with children with challenging behaviour, ideally within a primary school setting.
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach, with strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A relevant qualification in education or childcare (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3, CACHE, etc.) is desirable.
  • A commitment to promoting inclusion and equal opportunities for all children.
  • A willingness to undertake ongoing training and development.
