Role Responsibilities
The Centre of Excellence (CoE) Team is dedicated to enhancing project delivery capabilities and offering essential tools and resources to assist colleagues in executing projects and programs effectively. This includes providing learning and development opportunities, fostering professional communities, and equipping all staff with the necessary tools and guidance for successful project execution. We are also tasked with refining our department’s delivery methodologies and ensuring continuous learning from our experiences.
As a Change and Configuration Manager, you will play a crucial role in the management and optimization of Verto, our Project Programme and Portfolio Management (PPPM) software solution. Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the day-to-day operations of Verto, including license management, configuration, and performance monitoring.
- Leading initiatives to support the implementation of Verto by providing training and guidance to users.
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to understand their needs and enhance project delivery capabilities.
- Working closely with the Product Owner to assess user requirements and readiness for new software features.
- Facilitating the change management process for Verto users, ensuring smooth adoption and integration.
- Contributing to the ongoing improvement of IT service management processes within the department.
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in managing and configuring IT or digital services, preferably with SaaS solutions.
- Demonstrated ability to lead business change initiatives and engage stakeholders effectively.
- Strong communication and listening skills, with a talent for training and supporting others.
- Experience in collaborating with senior stakeholders to convey service capabilities and limitations.
Desirable Qualifications
- Familiarity with PowerApps or system integrations.
- Experience with PPPM software solutions.
- Background in project delivery environments and knowledge of project management methodologies.
- Relevant qualifications in Business Change, such as Managing Successful Programmes Practitioner or APMG Change Management Practitioner.

Office Attendance
