As a Compensation and Benefits Specialist, you will play a vital role in supporting the payroll team to ensure timely and accurate compensation for our employees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the complete payroll process, including BACS payments.
- Collaborate with the payroll supervisor and other departments to gather necessary payroll information.
- Address and resolve employee inquiries regarding payroll and benefits.
- Process manual payments as needed.
- Administer pension schemes.
- Handle statutory payments such as SSP and parental leave.
- Manage HMRC submissions including tax codes and RTI changes.
- Coordinate deductions for third-party claims through payroll.
- Prepare payroll reports and ensure compliance with national minimum wage regulations.
- Participate in monthly HR and payroll review meetings.
Required Experience and Skills:
- A minimum of 2 years of payroll experience.
- Exceptional attention to detail.
- Proficient in IT, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUP functions.
- Experience with manual tax calculations.
- Ability to meet tight deadlines and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Capable of working collaboratively within a team.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
