We are seeking a skilled CNC Vertical Borer Specialist to join our team at Workforce Staffing Ltd. Our client, a reputable engineering firm established in the 1940s, excels in delivering precision machining and heavy fabrication solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform soft and hard turning on CNC vertical borers, specifically the Massa MV 200.
- Set up, program, and operate various CNC vertical turn/mill centers.
- Utilize CAD/CAM software for programming assistance (training available on Dolphin Software).
- Interpret and work from engineering drawings to ensure the highest quality standards are met.
Candidate Requirements:
- Proven experience in programming Fanuc systems.
- Skilled in setting up work, tools, and editing programs.
- Strong understanding of programming codes.
- Knowledge of insert selection is essential.
- Experience working with large components.
- Prior experience in hard turning is required.
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Applicants should possess substantial expertise in relevant disciplines and demonstrate specific product and technical knowledge.
- Ability to perform self-inspection and measurement using tools such as micrometers and Vernier calipers.
- A minimum of 2 years' experience in programming and center lathe turning is necessary.
