About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Graduate Innovation Analyst. As a key member of our Japanese Corporate Banking Division, you will play a crucial role in supporting our business development efforts and driving innovation in the financial markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and trends in the Japanese corporate banking sector.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance our client relationships and drive business growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement innovative solutions to meet the evolving needs of our clients.
  • Support the development of business proposals and materials, including credit applications and borrower ratings.
  • Assist in the coordination of client meetings and events, and provide support to the operations team as needed.

Requirements

  • Fluency in both Japanese and English (verbal and written language skills).
  • Strong interest in financial markets and business development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Structured and logical mindset with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Innovative and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Recent graduate or final-year student in a relevant field (e.g. finance, business, economics).
