We invite you to become a part of Balfour Beatty as a Pre-Construction Manager within our Power T&D division. The ideal candidate will oversee significant projects during the Early Contractor Involvement and pre-construction stages. This position entails managing the transition throughout the project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to governance, and effectively handling risk management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary liaison for clients on various projects
  • Lead and inspire the pre-construction and ECI team
  • Assist in crafting successful win strategies
  • Collaborate closely with the proposals team
  • Generate monthly reports for stakeholders
  • Incorporate innovative solutions into the feasibility and pre-construction phases
  • Support project teams in implementing BIM Level 2 standards
  • Encourage defect prevention and systematic lessons learned
  • Establish a process to ensure projects are adequately prepared for construction
  • Provide support during the construction mobilization phase
  • Ensure clients receive assistance with estimating, planning, and regulatory submissions

Qualifications:

  • Highly organized with the ability to manage various stakeholders
  • Experience in infrastructure projects
  • Technical expertise in civil engineering and/or electrical engineering
  • Team-oriented and collaborative approach
