nGeneration is on the lookout for an experienced Stocktake Auditor or a hospitality professional with management or supervisory experience who has dealt with Wet and Dry Stocktakes in their Bar, Pub, or Restaurant.
This role transcends typical stocktaking duties. You will cultivate long-term business relationships with your assigned clients, offering expert advice and support related to managing a hospitality business while fulfilling your stocktaking responsibilities.
COMPENSATION: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum (based on experience) + Competitive Mileage Allowance
WORKING ENVIRONMENT: This position requires travel to various restaurants, pubs, bars, and retail entertainment venues.
EMPLOYMENT TYPE: Full-Time
IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the nature of this position, having access to your own vehicle is essential.
ROLE OVERVIEW:
nGeneration presents an exciting opportunity for a hospitality professional with management or supervisory experience and knowledge of Wet and Dry Stocktakes.
If you have experience as a Stocktake Auditor or Stocktaker Advisor, that’s excellent. However, we are also open to candidates who have held positions such as Bar Manager, Pub Manager, Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or Supervisor within the hospitality industry. Additional training on our systems and processes will be provided.
As a Stocktake Auditor/Stocktaker Advisor, you will oversee several prominent restaurants, pubs, bars, and retail entertainment venues, visiting them regularly to conduct Wet and Dry Stocktakes.
Your responsibilities will also include analyzing results, generating stocktake reports using EPoS systems (training provided), and collaborating with individual businesses to enhance stock utilization, ultimately improving their profitability.
Travel within your designated area is a key aspect of this role, and you must have access to your own vehicle.
QUALIFICATIONS:
To join nGeneration as a Hospitality Stocktake Specialist, you should possess the following skills and experience:
- Previous experience in a similar role is advantageous. However, we will consider candidates with backgrounds as Assistant Restaurant Managers, Hospitality Managers, Pub/Bar Managers, Supervisors, or similar management roles in the hospitality sector with some experience in wet and dry stocktaking.
- Familiarity with EPoS systems, including generating stocktake reports and managing inventory.
- Strong organizational, time-management, and administrative skills.
- Exceptional customer service and communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including MS Excel.
- A solid understanding of stock yields and stock depletion.
