An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join NHS Highland in the role of Assistant Management Accountant.
Working closely with the Management Accountant, you will be responsible for assisting with the delivery of a professional management accounting service across various services, including Family Health Services, Public Dental Services, and Professional Lead Nursing Services across Argyll & Bute.
You will provide support in all aspects of financial management, including monthly reporting, costings, and analysis, as well as budget planning, working alongside the Management Accountant and the senior Finance team.
This role is ideally suited to recent graduates who hold an HNC, HND, or degree, or to candidates who have equivalent relevant work experience and a desire to work in Financial Management within a complex organization.
The successful candidate will possess good analytical skills, strong communication skills, proficiency in the use of IT systems, including MS365, a team working ethos, and good planning, organization, and time management skills.
Training opportunities and support to gain a recognized accountancy qualification are available to successful candidates.
Please note that this role does not meet the eligibility criteria for a Skilled Worker visa or a Health and Care Worker visa.
