We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Temporary Cleaner to provide cover for long-term sickness at a busy market place. As a key member of our cleaning team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of public spaces, ensuring a welcoming environment for visitors.
Key Responsibilities- Perform litter picking and cleaning tasks to maintain the cleanliness of the market place.
- Regularly clean and maintain public toilets, ensuring they are hygienic and well-maintained.
- De-weed and tidy public areas, including pathways and surrounding spaces.
- Provide friendly and professional interaction with the public, responding to queries and concerns.
- Support the cleaning team with additional hours, working across various locations to maintain public areas.
- Assist with cleaning public buildings, sheltered housing schemes, and void properties.
- Availability to work between 6:30 AM and 8:00 PM, including evenings and weekends.
- A valid driver's license is required for occasional transportation of cleaning equipment.
- A basic DBS check will be conducted prior to commencement.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with the public.
- A competitive hourly rate of £12.
- The opportunity to contribute positively to the community by maintaining public spaces.
