Key Responsibilities:
As a Warehouse Operative, your duties will include but are not limited to:

  • Reporting directly to the Warehouse & Logistics Manager.
  • Supporting the Goods In Team Leader with daily warehouse operations.
  • Loading and unloading trucks and containers efficiently.
  • Receiving materials into the warehouse, verifying quantity and quality, and storing them appropriately.
  • Relocating goods within the warehouse as needed.
  • Assisting with daily inventory checks and annual stocktaking.
  • Palletizing and wrapping finished products for dispatch.
  • Performing general warehouse tasks as required.

Ideal Candidate Profile:
The successful candidate will possess the following qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a warehouse or goods receiving role.
  • A valid Full UK Driving Licence is essential.
  • Experience in goods receiving is preferred.
  • Forklift operation experience is advantageous but not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with Sage 200 or stock management software is a plus.
  • Understanding of warehouse health and safety regulations (in-house training will be provided).
  • A punctual individual who excels both independently and as part of a team.

Working Hours and Compensation:
The working schedule is as follows:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Friday: 8:00 AM - 2:15 PM
  • Opportunities for occasional overtime.

Employees will receive a 30-minute lunch break and 15-minute breaks in the morning and afternoon.

The annual salary for this position is £26,000.
