Restaurant and Bar Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant and Bar Manager to join our team at voco Zeal Exeter. As a key member of our hospitality team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional food and beverage experiences to our guests.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the food and beverage operations, ensuring high standards of quality, service, and safety.
- Develop and implement effective strategies to drive revenue growth and profitability.
- Manage and motivate a team of staff, providing coaching and training to ensure excellent service delivery.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef, Conference & Events Manager, and Operations Manager to ensure seamless operations.
- Monitor and control food and beverage costs, labor costs, and operating supply costs to ensure alignment with budget.
- Prepare and submit monthly reports, analyzing sales and expenditure data to inform business decisions.
- Participate in management meetings to review progress and develop business plans.
- Proven experience in food and beverage management, with a strong track record of success.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
- Knowledge of food hygiene and health & safety procedures.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
