We are seeking an experienced Activities Team Leader to join our dynamic team at Colten Care. As a key member of our care home team, you will play a vital role in creating a fulfilling life for our residents.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a team of Activity Coordinators, ensuring the delivery of engaging activities and events that cater to the diverse needs and interests of our residents.
- Develop and implement activity programs that promote social interaction, cognitive stimulation, and physical activity, in line with our care home's values and objectives.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless delivery of care and support services, including managing rotas, work allocation, and team budgets.
- Support the organization of fundraising events, galas, and themed care home activities that promote community engagement and resident participation.
About You
We are looking for a creative, energetic, and enthusiastic individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional care and experiences for our residents. As a confident role model, you will inspire and motivate your team to provide outstanding care and support.
Requirements
- Proven experience in a care or activities leadership role, with a strong track record of delivering high-quality care and experiences.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with residents, colleagues, and external partners.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the changing needs of our residents and care home.
- Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
