We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Assistant to provide exceptional support to the Director of the Centre for Human Genetics at the University of Oxford.
About the Centre for Human Genetics
The Centre for Human Genetics is a world-leading research centre housing approximately 400 researchers and staff conducting cutting-edge research in human genetics, genomics, and bioinformatics.
Key Responsibilities
- Organise efficiently the arrangements for meetings, including arranging catering and making travel arrangements for the Director.
- Provide daily operational line management to other PAs working in the unit, with 3 direct reports.
- Manage complex diary management and deal with confidential and highly sensitive correspondence.
- Provide administrative support, including proficiency in audio/touch typing, record-keeping, and dictation.
- Develop and maintain high levels of computer literacy with a good knowledge of MS Office, SharePoint, and Teams.
Requirements
- Excellent administrative skills and a high level of computer literacy.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to draft reports and present information to a high standard.
- A high standard of numeracy, with the ability to track financial spend against budgets.
- Excellent attention to detail and a responsive attitude to changing office technologies.
