About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to join our team at Kent Community Health NHS Foundation Trust. As a Paediatric Occupational Therapist, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to children and young people with a range of physical, emotional, and developmental needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide occupational therapy services to children and young people in a variety of settings, including schools, clinics, and community-based services.
  • Assess and develop individualised care plans to support children and young people to achieve their goals and improve their quality of life.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, including doctors, nurses, and therapists, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of occupational therapy services and policies within the trust.
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Recognised Therapy Degree Qualification or equivalent.
  • Health and Care Professions Council - Licence to Practice.
  • Registered Member of professional body.
  • Minimum of 5 years paediatric experience.
  • Experience of providing line supervision and/or clinical supervision in area of clinical specialism.
  • Experience of creating profession-specific documentation (care pathways/leaflets).
  • Experience of partnership working with internal and external stakeholders.
