Quality Control Chemist

The Recruitment Group is seeking Quality Control Chemists to join our esteemed client. With a rich history in product development and manufacturing, our client is dedicated to excellence in the pharmaceutical sector. The Quality Control Chemist will be responsible for documenting analytical evaluations in accordance with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) standards.
Compensation:
£14.36 per hour
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, with core hours from 10am to 3pm.

Role Summary:

Your primary responsibility will be to document analytical evaluations, ensuring that the quality of the data produced meets the necessary standards and prioritizes customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct and document analytical evaluations in compliance with cGMP standards, ensuring timely and complete delivery.
- Guarantee that the quality of the data produced is appropriate for its intended use while thriving in a fast-paced, adaptable environment with a focus on accuracy.
- Address technical challenges through thorough data analysis and laboratory investigations.
- Represent the department professionally during interactions with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement in daily operations.
Knowledge & Skills Required:
- Experience or familiarity with pressurized metered dose inhalers is advantageous.
- Solid understanding of GMP and Good Laboratory Practice (GLP).
- Knowledge of analytical chemistry and its practical applications.
- Proficiency in High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and familiarity with other analytical instruments such as Gas Chromatography (GC), Mass Spectrometry (MS), Ultra-Performance Liquid Chromatography (UPLC), and Ultraviolet (UV) spectroscopy.
- Basic statistical knowledge is preferred.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong verbal and numerical skills.
- Excellent communication abilities.
- A collaborative team player with the capacity to work independently.

Qualifications:
A degree (or higher) in a relevant scientific field with practical laboratory experience, or equivalent relevant experience.
