Job Overview

Asahi Europe & International is seeking a highly experienced and strategic IT leader to join our team as the Head of IT Office. This senior IT executive role will be a trusted partner to our CIO, leading the IT organization to become a business-oriented organization that aligns with our enterprise's business strategy and emerging digital capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategic objectives, frameworks, and metrics for the IT organization, ensuring alignment with business priorities and emerging digital capabilities.
  • Drive focus and prioritization within the IT organization through establishing strategic planning and governance principles and processes.
  • Collaborate with the CIO and business leadership team to provide broad insight to IT domains and capabilities in support of enterprise-wide business decisions.
  • Establish and implement continuous-improvement programs for the IT organization.
  • Stay current with developments in new market trends and innovations in technology and the leadership of enterprise IT.
  • Drive and facilitate effective collaboration and communications between the IT organization and the user and customer communities.
  • Direct the preparation, review, and consolidation of business plans and budgets for the IT organization.
  • Review IT costs and cost structures for IT services and products to communicate the financial implications of IT projects and activities to the proper IT and business executives.
  • Oversee the development and maintenance of IT policies, procedures, methodologies, and governance, as well as performance management frameworks and metrics to ensure the IT organization delivers value to the enterprise.
  • Manage strategic suppliers and negotiate with vendors in collaboration with Procurement.
  • Manage strategic and ad-hoc projects.
  • Manage a team of 20 direct and indirect reports.

Requirements

  • Master's degree or equivalent in Technology and business-related fields (MSc in Computer Science and MBA preferred).
  • 15+ years of professional experience, with 10+ years in IS managerial positions.
  • International experience, with accountability for delivering in/to different countries.
  • I&T Technologies, Solutions lifecycle, business relationship, and project management.
  • Strategic thinking and leadership skills.
  • Proficiency in English, SAP, Microsoft, and M365.
