About the Role:

The successful candidate will have a proven track record of success in a senior communications role, with a focus on environmental or sustainability issues. You will be responsible for crafting compelling stories and narratives that effectively communicate the impact and importance of climate emergency action to a variety of audiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Communication Strategies: Create and execute strategic communications plans that advance our environmental campaigns and programmes.
  • Write Persuasive Business Cases: Develop well-researched business cases to support proposition development, presented to senior leadership.
  • Craft Compelling Stories: Translate complex information into compelling stories that effectively communicate the impact and importance of climate emergency action.
  • Present to Senior Stakeholders: Deliver high-quality presentations to senior stakeholders, ensuring that complex data and concepts are presented in a clear, concise, and impactful manner.
  • Manage Communication Challenges: Respond to any communication challenges that arise, ensuring that our organization's reputation remains strong and our messaging is consistent.

Requirements:

  • Demonstrable Experience: Proven experience in a senior communications role, with a focus on environmental or sustainability issues.
  • Strong Business Case Writing: Ability to write business cases, with a track record of successful presentations to senior stakeholders.
  • Excellent Narrative Creation: Strong ability to create compelling stories and narratives that effectively communicate complex information.
  • Strategic Communications Planning: Experience in developing and executing strategic communications plans.
  • Project Management: Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Working Hours and Pay:

Working hours: 09:00am - 17:00pm, Monday - Friday. Pay: £350.00 per day.

IR35 Status:

Please note that this role is within the scope of IR35.
