This role is pivotal in overseeing the financial and contractual elements of our ambitious developments.
As a Lead Cost Consultant, you will contribute to the creation of outstanding living environments in urban settings, ensuring that every aspect is carefully managed.
Role Overview:
In the capacity of Lead Cost Consultant, you will be the financial strategist behind high-rise apartment initiatives, guiding them from inception to realization.
Work alongside a skilled team of project managers, architects, and engineers to actualize these towering structures, ensuring timely completion, budget adherence, and exceptional quality.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee the financial and contractual management of high-rise apartment initiatives.
Ensure projects remain on schedule, within financial constraints, and meet high-quality standards.
Develop and manage comprehensive cost estimates, budgets, and analyses to ensure project success.
Negotiate and formulate contracts with subcontractors, suppliers, and clients.
Innovate and execute procurement strategies, guiding the procurement process.
Provide detailed financial reports and accurate financial data.
Mentor and guide junior cost consultants, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, or a related discipline.
Professional accreditation with RICS or equivalent.
5+ years of experience in Quantity Surveying, with a focus on high-rise residential projects.
Thorough understanding of construction methodologies, materials, and regulations pertinent to high-rise developments.
Proven expertise in cost estimation, budgeting, contract management, and procurement.
Exceptional analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.
Detail-oriented and organized, with strong problem-solving capabilities.
Self-motivated and dedicated to achieving high standards.
Strong leadership and team management abilities.
