Purpose of the Role

The primary objective of this position is to drive profitable sales growth by identifying, prospecting, and cultivating new business opportunities within the Outbound Calls Team.

This role requires a strong focus on building and maintaining excellent customer relationships, providing exceptional customer service, and effectively negotiating deals and contracts to achieve individual and team sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough research to identify new sales opportunities through cold calling, networking, and leveraging marketing initiatives, email campaigns, and industry resources.
  • Proactively seek out new clients through existing networks and industry connections.
  • Utilize industry expertise to develop new accounts and sales opportunities.
  • Handle sales calls, assess customer needs, and advise on how the Company can deliver to their specifications.
  • Generate quotations for customers, following up and upselling when necessary to track sales and close deals.
  • Manage and update leads/activities to maintain accurate records of customer communications.
  • Transition new customers to account managers within agreed timescales, ensuring excellent customer service and relationship consolidation.
  • Regularly review sales performance against monthly and annual targets, striving to meet or exceed these wherever possible.
Minimum Requirements
  • Self-motivation and a target-driven approach.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Negotiation and resilience.
  • Commercial awareness and a strong understanding of the industry.
Key Results Areas/Objectives
  • Build and maintain excellent customer relationships, ensuring transparent and accurate communication.
  • Achieve set KPIs and sales targets within required timescales, with a focus on continuous performance improvement and self-development.
  • Maintain and update the customer relationship management (CRM) system to track sales progress and assume responsibility for sales delivery and conclusion.
  • Proactively network and collaborate with third parties through various communication channels to engage new customers and maintain relationships with existing ones.
Job Details
  • Job Type: Full-time, Permanent.
  • Pay: From £30,000.00 per year.
  • Additional Pay: Commission pay.
