About the Role

1st Homecare is a specialist provider of personalised homecare support operating throughout Scotland. We provide a range of care and support services for vulnerable adults and children.

Job Summary

We are seeking to recruit Support Workers to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide support with daily living tasks, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration. You will work with individuals who require support with their daily lives, providing companionship and emotional support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide support with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Assist with meal preparation and serving
  • Administer medication as required
  • Provide companionship and emotional support
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as cleaning and laundry
Requirements

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about providing high-quality care and support. You will need to be able to work independently and as part of a team, and be able to communicate effectively with individuals who require support.

You will need to have a commitment to quality and be able to provide excellent care to the people we support. You will also need to be able to work well as part of a team and be able to communicate effectively with colleagues and managers.
