Key Responsibilities:
  • Attend and host team meetings, ensuring effective communication and collaboration.
  • Lead and issue meeting notes for technical and progress workshop meetings, promoting transparency and accountability.
  • Review tender information, including design drawings, specifications, and equipment schedules, to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Deliver design and working drawings necessary to deliver the project, capturing additional costs and programme delays caused by external influences.
  • Produce and manage technical submissions, ensuring compliance with specifications and ER documents.
  • Develop a commissioning strategy for the installation, ensuring seamless execution and quality control.
  • Manage procurement, value engineering, and better buying against tender allowances, optimizing project outcomes.
  • Programme the works and sub-contract packages, ensuring timely completion and effective resource allocation.
  • Produce and manage programmes, providing regular updates and progress reports.
  • Project reporting to the PM, ensuring accurate and timely information.
  • Manage installation and commissioning activities, ensuring quality and safety standards are met.
  • Handover documentation, including record drawings, test, and commission reports.
  • Ensure all variation costs are advised to the PM and QS, maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Cost control, liaising with the project surveyor to assist the PM with the monthly PFR report.
  • Quality control, ensuring adherence to specifications and ER documents.
  • Risk control, programme and commercial, identifying and mitigating potential risks.
Requirements:
  • HNC/HNC in Building Services Engineering or similar.
  • CSCS/IOSH/SMSTS.
  • Experience of working at a senior level on M&E commercial projects, with full contract management responsibilities.
  • Capability to accept responsibilities and accomplish project objectives in a timely manner.
  • Good computer skills, especially with Microsoft Office.
  • Awareness of health and safety requirements and the continual assessment/control of risk.
  • Active contribution to the team (internal and client team).
