We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical Neuropsychologist to join our team as a Consultant Clinical Psychologist. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist clinical neuropsychological services to clients with complex mental and physical health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Providing specialist clinical neuropsychological assessments and treatments to clients with complex mental and physical health needs.
- Leading research projects and service evaluations to improve the quality of care and services provided.
- Developing and implementing strategies and clinical policies in multi-disciplinary, multi-agency contexts.
- Providing consultation to other professional and non-professional groups on psychological aspects of patient care.
- Teaching and training others on clinical neuropsychology and related topics.
- Contributing to the development and maintenance of the highest professional standards of practice.
- Professional Doctorate in Clinical Psychology (or equivalent qualifications as assessed by the HCPC).
- HCPC registration as a Practitioner Psychologist.
- MSc in Clinical Neuropsychology as accredited by the BPS (or equivalent).
- Entry on the BPS Specialist Register in Clinical Neuropsychology.
- BPS RAPPS eligible supervisor and registered QiCN Supervisor.
- Further training or equivalent experience in working with people with acute and/or chronic long-term health conditions.
- Further training in at least one psychological therapy.
- Excellent verbal, nonverbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong leadership qualities, resilience, and ability to manage ambiguity and uncertainty.
- Skills in managing conflict, negotiation, and achieving consensus in complex situations.
