Job Overview

Position Summary

We are seeking a Business Process Optimization Consultant who will play a pivotal role in enhancing our operational efficiency. This position involves collaborating with various cross-functional teams to assess and redefine our business processes, identifying potential challenges and risks, and proposing effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities

The consultant will:

  • Conduct thorough process and business analysis for designated projects utilizing a diverse array of business analysis methodologies within the telecommunications sector.
  • Critically evaluate existing and proposed process designs to ensure maximum effectiveness is integrated into all company operations.
  • Apply LEAN and Six Sigma methodologies to pinpoint and model enhancements to current or undocumented processes.
  • Create process models that meet the standards necessary for future process mining and robotic process automation (RPA).
  • Assist in the development of internal prioritization documents and proposals for review by senior management and governance committees.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and subject matter experts to ensure alignment of business processes with strategic objectives.
  • Oversee the management of a small team, ensuring quality output and professional development.

Essential Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Certification as a Lean Practitioner.
  • A valid UK driving license.
  • Proven experience in creating process documentation adhering to BPMN2 standards.
  • Familiarity with specialized BPM tools, such as Signavio.
  • Experience in process mining and value stream mapping.
  • A background in high-growth or high-intensity environments, demonstrating adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation and consensus-building abilities when engaging with internal clients and team members.
  • Extensive experience in process analysis and team management.
  • The capability to evaluate undocumented processes and develop accurate 'as-is' process maps through stakeholder engagement.
  • The ability to challenge existing process mappings and utilize business analysis skills to redesign processes by identifying root causes of inefficiencies.
  • Proficiency in using BPMN2 software to create Standard Operating Procedures from process flows.
