Job Summary:

As a Communications Troop Officer in the British Army, you will be responsible for leading a team of key military players in national defense. You will be responsible for establishing and maintaining reliable and secure communication networks in various military situations, including humanitarian missions and combat operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of soldiers to establish communication networks in the field
  • Coordinate cyber-attacks on the enemy
  • Provide secure and reliable communication services to multinational forces
  • Develop and implement communication strategies to support military operations
  • Manage and maintain communication equipment and networks

Requirements:

  • Starting salary of around £27,181, rising to around £33,436 upon completion of one year's training
  • Subsidized accommodation and facilities

  • Support to achieve a BSc in Communication Management during training
  • Sponsorship to study for valuable professional qualifications, including postgraduate degrees in science or engineering, and Chartered Practitioner status

Training and Development:

You will undergo training at the Royal Military Academy Sandhurst, where you will learn the skills you need to become an Officer, including weapons handling, outdoor survival, and leadership skills.
