Technical Director Fire Engineering

SOCOTEC UK Limited is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Technical Director Fire Engineering to lead our Fire Engineering team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for ensuring the technical excellence and delivery of Fire Engineering services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality fire engineering services to our customers, including third-party reviews and design verification.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions to enhance safety and resilience in fire engineering.
  • Lead and mentor a team of fire engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality projects.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver fire engineering projects for buildings, focusing on technical excellence and customer satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development of fire engineering policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in engineering (mechanical, structural, civil, or similar field) and a postgraduate fire engineering qualification.
  • Full membership with the Institution of Fire Engineers (IFE) and a strong track record of delivering fire engineering projects.
  • Excellent knowledge of CFD modelling and smoke control management, with a passion for fire safety and a commitment to delivering high-quality results.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with stakeholders and customers.
