Medical Affairs Strategy Lead

Position Overview:

CK Group is seeking a qualified individual to fill the role of Medical Affairs Lead within a prominent biopharmaceutical organization. This position will oversee the respiratory division, contributing to the effective execution of medical strategy initiatives while ensuring operational excellence within the medical affairs department. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Head of Medical Affairs to formulate the overarching medical affairs strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team consisting of a Medical Manager and two Medical Advisors.
  • Serve as the internal and external therapy expert.
  • Participate in national and international scientific conferences and congresses.
  • Facilitate national advisory boards, providing support to both Medical Science Liaisons (MSLs) and Medical Managers during these events.
  • Establish and nurture relationships with external stakeholders and patient advocacy groups.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams in regulatory affairs, commercial operations, and market access.
  • Ensure compliance with the ABPI code of practice, internal policies, and relevant standards.
  • Lead the upcoming advisory board scheduled for 2025.
  • Engage with both established and pipeline products throughout their life cycle.

Candidate Profile:

  • Proven experience in medical affairs.
  • Experience in respiratory medicine is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Comprehensive understanding of the ABPI code of practice, with qualifications as a final medical signatory, AQP, commercial signatory, or equivalent expertise.
