Job Title: Mobile Plant Fitter

Location: Kinning Park, Glasgow

Salary: £30,000 - £32,000 per annum

Job Overview:

First Military Recruitment is seeking a skilled Mobile Plant Fitter to join our client's team. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing a variety of plant equipment, including compressors, mini-excavators, and dumpers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose and repair faults in plant equipment, both on and off site.
  • Check and tag all equipment, and update service records.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of products and accessories.
  • Complete test certificates and associated paperwork.
  • Adhere to customer Health & Safety rules when on site.
  • Keep the workshop and vehicle organized, clean, and tidy.
  • Perform other reasonable duties as required by the Foreman or General Manager.

Requirements:

  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • Customer service focus.
  • Experience in a similar plant fitting role.
  • CITB/NVQ qualification is preferred.
  • Driving license.
