About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mobile Plant Fitter to join our team at Finning. As a Mobile Plant Fitter, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers, ensuring their equipment is running smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical support to customers, diagnosing and resolving equipment issues in a timely and cost-effective manner.
- Conduct regular site visits to assess equipment condition, identify potential issues, and provide recommendations for maintenance and repair.
- Collaborate with customers to understand their needs, develop solutions, and implement repairs or maintenance plans.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest dealer software and repair techniques, ensuring you have the skills and knowledge to deliver exceptional service.
- Work autonomously, as part of a team, and in high-pressure situations, demonstrating strong planning, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Requirements
- Heavy Earth Moving equipment operating knowledge and experience.
- LDV driving license and ability to travel to customer sites.
- Apprentice-trained engineer or formally trained with NVQ Level 3 preferred.
- Experience working with a variety of construction and static machines.
