About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Land Referencing Specialist to join our team at Ardent, a leading provider of land, consent management, and stakeholder engagement services. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting major infrastructure and regeneration projects from concept to delivery.

Key Responsibilities
  • Apply a robust land referencing methodology to demonstrate diligent and reasonable enquiry ahead of public consultation and application submission.
  • Manage and interpret complex land registry title data.
  • Produce statutory compliant Books of Reference and Compulsory Purchase Order Schedules.
  • Develop and maintain accurate land data management systems.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to secure land access for surveys and prepare statutory acquisition notices.
  • Provide expert land referencing services at hearings and public inquiries.
  • Support the optioneering process and develop bespoke plans for land and works agreements.
Requirements
  • Degree educated in a relevant field, such as geography, geospatial science, estate management, or property planning.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions to tight deadlines.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Ability to handle confidential information and maintain accurate records.
  • Strong IT skills and knowledge of Microsoft packages, including MS Word and Excel.
Desirable Skills
  • Understanding of land registry title plans and registers.
  • Knowledge of compulsory purchase legislation.
  • Familiarity with GIS systems.
