Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams within Direct Line Group to develop and maintain risk pricing models, data, and associated intelligence, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • Support high-priority projects in pricing and underwriting, focusing on initiatives involving geographic information systems (GIS) technology and geospatial rating tools.
  • Ensure the accuracy and integrity of internal and external geographic data used within Commercial Lines, identifying opportunities for improvement and seeking best-in-class data providers.
  • Continuously strive to enhance the statistical validity and efficiency of modelling, projection processes, and techniques, driving business value through data-driven insights.
  • Deliver projects to the pricing and underwriting team within agreed timelines, ensuring timely completion and effective communication.
  • Ensure compliance with Direct Line Group's core policies, statutory requirements, governance controls, and risk minimum standards, minimizing reputational risk and ensuring timely completion of risk and audit actions.
