Freight Coordinator Position Overview
As a key member of our operations team, you will work alongside experienced Air, Ocean, and Road freight professionals to ensure seamless freight operations. Your primary focus will be to assist in planning, invoicing, scheduling, quoting, customs, imports, exports, and managing freight movements from start to finish.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate freight operations to meet customer demands and company objectives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal and external customers, logistics companies, and other stakeholders
- Manage freight movements, including planning, scheduling, and tracking
- Process invoices, quotes, and customs documentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve operational issues
Requirements:
- Proven experience working in Air, Ocean, or Road Freight operations
- Knowledge of Import and Export operations (desirable)
- Knowledge of Customs operations (desirable)
- Experience dealing with Dangerous/Hazardous goods (highly desirable)
Benefits:
- Salary: £28-35k (dependent on experience)
