Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Assembly Technician to join our team at a leading engineering business. As a Mechanical Assembly Technician, you will be responsible for assembling and testing mechanical components, working from engineering drawings and assembly instructions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test mechanical components, including subassemblies and main assemblies
  • Work from engineering drawings and assembly instructions to ensure accurate and efficient assembly
  • Use hand tools, such as potrivet guns and drills, to assemble and test components
  • Measure and cut metal, including copper and mild steel, to ensure accurate assembly
  • Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient and effective assembly processes
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in mechanical assembly, ideally in a production environment
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and assembly instructions
  • Knowledge of mechanical assembly processes and techniques
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to work accurately
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment
