Job Description

Innova Solutions International is seeking a highly skilled Mechanical Technician to join our team in a contract role. As a Mechanical Technician, you will play a critical role in transforming traditional engines into electric powered units.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Remove and replace diesel or traditional engines with renewable energy electric transmission units.
  • Install and test electric powertrains in various off-highway vehicles, including Hydraulic Excavators, Back-hoe Loaders, Telehandlers, and Track Type Tractors.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on powertrains and machines, using advanced diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Work from engineering drawings to manufacture parts, assemble components, and install electrical looms.
  • Collaborate with engineers to develop and implement new powertrain designs and technologies.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in mechanical maintenance and repair, with a focus on electric powertrains.
  • Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems, including thermocouples, pressure transducers, and speed pickups.
  • Ability to work from engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Excellent problem-solving and diagnostic skills.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
