Job Title: Year 5 Class Teacher

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 5 Class Teacher to join our team at a primary school in Hertfordshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and comprehensive lessons to a class of well-behaved and enthusiastic pupils.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver high-quality lessons that meet the needs of all pupils, including those with special educational needs.
  • Plan and prepare lessons that are engaging, interactive, and aligned with the Key Stage 2 curriculum.
  • Maintain a well-organised classroom environment that promotes learning and minimises disruption.
  • Assess pupil progress and provide constructive feedback to pupils, parents, and colleagues.
  • Work effectively with other members of staff to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Teaching Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
  • Strong knowledge of the Key Stage 2 curriculum and its application in the classroom.
  • Experience of teaching Year 5 pupils and managing a classroom environment.
  • Ability to work effectively with colleagues and contribute to a positive and supportive team culture.
