Established Insurance Brokerage Seeks Senior Account Broker

The Opportunity:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Account Broker to join our flagship Coventry branch. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in commercial insurance to take on a leadership role and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take over an existing book of commercial insurance business, covering a range of policies from mid-market to larger corporate clients.
  • Provide market-leading broking services, focused on delivering exceptional customer service and positive outcomes for clients.
  • Maintain strong business relationships with clients and negotiate with insurers to secure the best possible terms.
  • Schedule and attend meetings, conduct research on insurance policies and products, and negotiate policy terms and costs with insurance providers.
  • Deal with problems constructively, identifying and addressing the root cause of day-to-day issues, and engaging with team leaders and management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience as an Account Broker, Account Handler, or Account Manager in the commercial insurance industry.
  • Cert CII as a minimum qualification, with Dip CII advantageous.

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary up to £45,000.
  • CII qualification support.
  • Hybrid working arrangement, with 2 days working from home each week.
  • 25 days' annual leave, plus bank holidays.
  • Death in service benefit.
