About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Assistant Management Accountant / Accounts Assistant to join our team at Get Recruited Ltd. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for assisting with the Month End Cycle, supporting the preparation of the Monthly Management Accounts, and performing other transitional finance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Finance Manager with day-to-day finance tasks, including Month End and Year End processes, Supplier Statement reconciliations, and VAT returns.
- Oversee the Purchase Ledger and assist with the input of Purchase Ledger invoices when required.
- Prepare supplier payment runs, post the bank, and send remittances.
- Prepare Credit Control Reports with accurate debtor information.
- Assist with Ad-hoc Sales Invoices.
- Support and work with the Management Accountant and other Finance team members with any queries and information required.
- Conduct ad-hoc analysis and reporting in Excel.
Requirements:
- Must have experience in an Assistant Management Accountant role or similar, such as Senior Accounts Assistant, Accounts Assistant, Assistant Accountant, or Finance Assistant.
- A good understanding of the Purchase Order process.
- Highly computer literate with accounting software (ideally Sage, however, experience with different systems is acceptable) and operating at a Basic to Intermediate level with MS Excel.
- AAT or above would be an advantage.
