Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Financial Assistant to join our team at Trial Balance Consulting. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for providing financial and commercial administration support to our senior finance team and the wider business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the purchase and sales ledger functions
  • Assist with month and year-end processes, including VAT return preparation and reconciliations
  • Resolve queries and provide ad-hoc administrative assistance as required
  • Work closely with the senior finance team to provide key financial and commercial support

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar level of role
  • Ability to work to deadlines and manage your own workload in a constantly changing environment
  • Excellent systems skills, including Sage Line 50
  • Strong financial and commercial skills, with the ability to liaise with multiple internal and external stakeholders
