Customer Service Representative

Position Overview:
We are looking for a dedicated and customer-oriented professional to join our team as a Customer Service Representative in the automotive sector.
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in a customer-facing role within the automotive industry, preferably in a dealership environment, and familiarity with service management software.
While this experience is preferred, we are open to training the right individual who demonstrates a strong fit for our collaborative team.
Being a team player is essential, as you will collaborate closely with fellow service representatives, automotive technicians, and the service management team.
A valid driving license is required, ideally with a clean record or no more than 6 penalty points.
The starting salary for this position is £24,000, with an on-target earnings potential of £31,000.
This role operates Monday to Friday, with Saturday mornings on a rotating team schedule.
As a Customer Service Representative, your primary responsibility will be to deliver outstanding customer service and facilitate the efficient functioning of our service department.
Your main objective will be to assist clients with their vehicle service requirements and ensure their overall satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome customers warmly to the service department.
- Listen attentively to customer concerns and accurately record their vehicle issues.
- Offer recommendations for necessary repairs or maintenance based on customer feedback and vehicle assessments.
- Promote additional services or products that may enhance the customer experience.
- Coordinate appointments for vehicle repairs or maintenance.
- Communicate effectively with technicians to ensure timely repair completion.
- Keep customers updated on the status of their vehicles throughout the repair process.
- Process payment transactions and maintain precise records of payments received.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing any inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally.

- Excellent customer service skills, with the capacity to manage challenging situations calmly and professionally.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
