Position Overview

The Anaplan team at Legal & General Investment Management is seeking a Financial Data Modeller to assist the Financial Systems Development Manager in the design, construction, and testing of existing and new Anaplan Data Models.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Engage in all phases of Anaplan development, including requirements analysis, design, construction, user acceptance testing, governance, and documentation.
  • Oversee and enhance the current Anaplan infrastructure, configuring lists, modules, dashboards, actions, and other model settings to align with business requirements while prototyping innovative ideas.
  • Develop new Anaplan models from the ground up and modify existing models, transforming 2D spreadsheet models into multi-dimensional Anaplan models.
  • Collaborate with Finance Managers and other Anaplan users to comprehend their needs and develop tailored Anaplan models.
  • Stay updated on the latest Anaplan product releases, adhering to best practices to integrate desirable functionalities into current and future modeling capabilities.
  • Create standard documentation for applications and provide ongoing support for maintenance and continuous improvement after model deployment.
  • Offer technical guidance to team members regarding configuration and testing processes.
  • Train and assist users in maximizing the benefits of Anaplan, explaining its functionalities as needed.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience in constructing and maintaining financial models.
  • Familiarity with planning, modeling, or other data technologies to deliver business solutions.
  • Experience with Anaplan tools is advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Tableau, Alteryx, SQL, or equivalent technologies is preferred.
  • Experience in the financial services sector is a plus.
