Job Summary

As a Care Professional with Home Instead, you will provide a variety of non-medical services to help our clients remain independent in their own home. This includes:

  • Companionship and social interaction
  • General housekeeping and domestic support
  • Non-medical personal care and assistance with daily living tasks

You will work closely with our clients to understand their unique needs and preferences, and provide tailored support to enhance their quality of life. This is a rewarding role that requires a compassionate and empathetic approach, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide non-medical support and companionship to clients in their own homes
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Prepare meals and snacks, and assist with light housekeeping
  • Encourage clients to engage in activities and hobbies that bring them joy and fulfillment
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and support provided

Requirements

  • No experience necessary, but a passion for supporting others and delivering excellent care is essential
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach, with a strong ability to build relationships with clients and their families
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable and punctual, with a commitment to providing high-quality care and support
