Key Responsibilities- Assist in Body Condition Scoring (BCS): Evaluate and record body condition scores for various species, collaborating with animal care staff to monitor and track changes in animal body conditions over time.
- Diet Analysis and Review: Aid in the collection and analysis of diet data for different species, ensuring diets meet nutritional requirements. Assist in reviewing and updating diet plans based on current research, seasonal availability of food items, and specific animal needs.
- Data Collection and Management: Maintain accurate records of diet formulations, feeding regimes, and nutritional assessments. Assist in the management of nutrition-related databases and ensure data is accurately entered and maintained.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the animal care team to ensure effective communication regarding dietary changes and nutritional needs. Participate in team meetings and contribute to discussions on animal health and nutrition.
- 9 month fixed term contract
- 40 hours per week, worked Monday Friday, 7am 3:30pm with 30 minutes lunch break
- Salary of £24,860.54 per annum
- Hybrid working available, with 1 day per week spent remotely
