About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Fleet Administrator to join our team at Kemp Recruitment. As a key member of our Fleet / Maintenance & Hire team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the team with all breakdowns and fleet administration tasks.

Main Responsibilities
  • Breakdown Management: Follow up on all breakdowns to ensure timely resolutions and maintain accurate records.
  • System Maintenance: Input maintenance and repair data into our Fleet Management (FM) system, ensuring seamless integration and data accuracy.
  • Tyre Information Management: Record and update tyre information in the FM system, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
  • Inbound Call Handling: Manage inbound calls related to HGV breakdowns and provide exceptional customer support.
  • Team Support: Assist wider teams with call handling, fleet maintenance bookings, and administrative tasks, promoting a collaborative work environment.
  • VOR Time Updates: Monitor and update Vehicle Off Road (VOR) times, ensuring accurate records and efficient operations.
  • Collaboration: Work as part of a team of Fleet Maintenance Support Advisors, sharing knowledge and best practices to drive success.
Requirements
  • Relevant Experience: Previous experience as an Administrator is highly beneficial, with a strong understanding of fleet management principles.
  • Excel Proficiency: Strong skills in Microsoft Excel, including lookups and pivot tables, to analyze data and drive insights.
  • IT Competency: Proficiency in internal systems, Outlook, and general IT skills, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
  • Industry Knowledge: Any experience or knowledge of the fleet/HGV sector or commercial vehicle sector is advantageous, with a strong understanding of industry trends and best practices.
