Your Responsibilities

  • Oversee all stages of the project implementation lifecycle, ensuring effective initiation, planning, execution, testing, transition to live operations, and handover to support teams.
  • Collaborate closely with the Customer Project Manager to establish trust and actively guide the project towards successful outcomes.
  • Simultaneously manage 3-8 projects, adhering to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.
  • Identify potential risks associated with projects and develop strategies to mitigate them.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with clients, team members, regional delivery managers, and leadership in Professional Services.
  • Encourage and motivate cross-functional teams, promote collaboration, and resolve conflicts to achieve project objectives.

Your Experience

  • At least 5 years of continuous experience as a Project Manager, or a minimum of 8 years for a Senior role, preferably within a professional services context for a software vendor or partner.
  • Hands-on experience managing all phases of software implementation projects for enterprise clients.
  • Proven ability to handle multiple projects concurrently with interdependent teams.
  • Experience leading diverse project teams ranging from 2 to over 7 members per project.
  • Experience engaging with senior stakeholders from client organizations.
  • Expertise in managing both SaaS and on-premise implementation projects with varying levels of effort.
  • Successful track record in managing both Time & Materials and Fixed-Price enterprise software implementation projects.
  • International experience with clients across EMEA and the US is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Enterprise Content Management (ECM) and/or Invoice Processing (IP) solutions is a plus.

Skills & Certifications

  • Strong passion for technology and delivering value to clients.
  • Confident and articulate in presenting to senior client personnel.
  • Able to adopt a consultative approach while maintaining project scope and boundaries.
  • Proficient problem solver focused on finding optimal solutions for both clients and the business.
  • Effective communicator capable of conveying complex procedural concepts to stakeholders.
  • Understanding of various software delivery methodologies (Waterfall, Agile, Hybrid, etc.) and their appropriate application.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Project (or similar tools) and MS Office applications.
  • Highly organized and disciplined with a keen attention to detail.
  • Excellent command of the English language; proficiency in German or French is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience is preferred.
  • PMP or PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile, or similar certification is required or to be obtained within three months.
  • ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
