About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Parking Enforcement Team as a Civil Enforcement Officer. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for enforcing parking restrictions throughout Stockport, ensuring the efficient movement of traffic, improving road safety, and enhancing the local environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Patrolling parking restrictions throughout Stockport to identify and issue tickets for contraventions
  • Checking pay and display equipment to ensure accurate and efficient operation
  • Working in all weather conditions to maintain a high level of service
  • Collaborating with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full UK driving license and willingness to drive a Council vehicle
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer care skills to deal with the public in a professional and courteous manner
  • Ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
